Fusion Projects was engaged by Appia Developments as design-build project managers for their new corporate headquarters in downtown Vancouver’s latest AAA office tower – 320 Granville.

The office on the 28th floor has breathtaking views of Vancouver Harbour and the North Shore. Inspired by this, RAW Interior Design conceptualized the President’s Office at project north with a magnificent view of The Lions. Hidden within the President’s Office is a jewel of a bathroom, complete with a vanity, porcelain tiled shower and a cedar bench. The unique monolithic stone blends harmoniously with the floor-to-ceiling white oak millwork. In the ceiling, is a curved cove lighting feature that echoes the rounded shape of the building.

Our client wanted a space that’s light and bright, modern yet classic. The space is not only beautiful - it is highly functional and made with fine materials that are durable and will stand the test of time. An impressive stone and wood reception desk greets visitors. There is a cove ceiling lighting feature above the waiting area paired with ambient recessed ceiling lights which cast a warm glow throughout lobby.

As you walk down the halls, there are separate enclosed areas for files and copy & print services. The meeting room and boardroom showcase unique feature lighting from local suppliers, and audio-visual equipment and conference meeting tools are seamlessly integrated into the furniture and millwork.

Staff each have their own offices with unobstructed views of Vancouver and beyond, frosted floor-to-ceiling glass walls with white oak frames, tambour wall panelling, and matching white oak doors.

Even the break room maximizes the city views and faces the floor-to-ceiling windows. There is an 8’ kitchen island with a waterfall countertop, and the kitchen appliances are either tucked in the cabinets or hidden in plain view with golden oak panels.

The Fusion team successfully collaborated with Appia and design partner RAW from start to finish – from working with the designers on the budget and constructibility of the design, to ensuring that the space is comfortable and enjoyable after client move-in. The result is an awe-inspiring corporate space that evokes an upscale and elegant European feel.
