Fusion Projects completed the construction of CEFA Nordel on the second floor of a three-storey office building, creating an early learning environment with five classrooms accommodating 80 children. The project brought together bright interior spaces and a carefully coordinated outdoor play area within the constraints of an existing commercial property.

A generous reception area creates a welcoming arrival point for children, families, and educators. Throughout the school, floor-to-ceiling exterior windows bring abundant natural light into every classroom, establishing a sense of openness and a connection to the surroundings.

Integrating an outdoor play area presented one of the project’s key challenges. With limited suitable space and parking already at a premium, its placement required close coordination with the City and the landlord to balance the school’s needs with the ongoing use of the property.

Through this collaborative approach, a portion of the parking lot was transformed into a dedicated play area, with protective separation from vehicles accessing the surrounding stalls. The solution introduced valuable outdoor space while addressing the practical challenges of its location.

The completed school demonstrates Fusion Projects’ ability to adapt commercial properties for early learning use, combining welcoming classrooms with responsive site planning and stakeholder coordination.
